A Nijmegen section of ESN, the international student association network, has been officially approved this weekend. The activities will start next semester.

During the so-called national platform, ISN Nijmegen, as the association will be called, got the green light to continue. In February, the activities will start. ISN Nijmegen will be an association for international and ‘internationally minded’ students.

The students behind ISN Nijmegen, Annika Schiefner en Lisette te Hennepe, are very happy with the news and excited to start. In an interview last September, they said that it will not just be fun and games at the new association: ‘Dutch students and internationals live very separated. In the new association, we will also pay attention to integration, by adding a ‘buddy and integration’ committee’.
