The Vox editorial team wants to understand how widespread AI use is on campus. That’s why we’ve created two surveys — one for students and one for researchers.
AI tools like ChatGPT and Grammarly have become an integral part of student life. Whether it’s drafting or refining an essay, summarising texts, or analysing sources, chances are you’ve used them before.
But how often do students actually rely on AI, and for what purposes? Do they follow the guidelines set by their professors? And how do they think universities should handle AI in education? To get answers to these questions, we’ve put together a student survey. The more responses we get, the clearer the picture.
Researchers
We’re also interested in how researchers view AI tools. Do they use them in their own work, whether in research or teaching? And what’s their take on student AI usage? You can answer these questions by filling in our survey for faculty and staff.
The results will be used in journalistic reports on voxweb.nl and in a print magazine coming out this spring. Join in and help us map AI use on campus!
