Wednesday – Next week, 6 to 10 April, short film festival Go Short takes place in LUX. Tomorrow, you can go to the Go Short Preview in CC3. A few of the highlights of the festival will be screened, and director Reber Dosky is present for a Q&A.

Friday – American psychologist Philip Zimbardo gives a lecture called Everyday Heroes in concert hall De Vereeniging on Friday. He claims that there is a hero in everybody and uses research, both his own and his colleagues’, to improve the world around us.

Friday – Dance night ‘Het Zusje van Debbie’ (Debbie’s sister) has become quite popular since it started as a small party in Café Trianon. Now, on April fool’s day, it takes place in the old broth factory at the Honig complex. It will be a big party with popular music to dance too, weird decorations and quite some April fool’s jokes.

Saturday – Cocktail bar Cali celebrates its one-year anniversary on Saturday. Apart from special drink and food offers, there will be a DJ to take care of the necessary music. It will be nice to dance somewhere else than in the Molenstraat this weekend, right?

Sunday – Short on budget but looking for summer clothes? The Thiemeloods organises a second-hand clothing market for charity. The market is opened between 13.00 and 17.00, and at 16.00 you can win a prize in a lottery with your entrance ticket. / Jozien Wijkhuijs
