Nuffic published a new Niche call for subsidy tender entitled: ‘Strengthening PhD supervisory capacity in South Africa’. Stellenbosch, Cape Town, Fort Hare and  Rhodes  are the requested universities. Specific objectives include: (1) developing the capacity in doctoral supervision among new cohorts and (2) rolling out of new PhD supervisory course to universities. The budget is a maximum of 1 million euros. The closing date for tenders is 8 November 2011.
